Q: How do I request access to the Sequence product?

A:

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Go to www.BiologicTx.com
2. Click on “Clinicians Portal”, found in the top right corner of the BiologicTx homepage
3. Click on “Request Entry Rights” and complete the form by clicking “Submit”
4. You will receive a confirming email
5. Agree to the terms of use
6. You now have access to BiologicTx Sequence HIPAA secure website

 

 

Q: Where is the Sequence application located?

A:

Sequence is accessible from the BiologicTx website homepage at www.biologictx.com

 

Q: Are patients given the option to be excluded, or is there a release that the patients must sign to release their information to Sequence?

A:

Yes, Patients sign a consent for release of their patient information into Sequence prior to start of therapy. Transplant patients are extracted into Sequence utilizing customized nomenclature. If a patient does not sign the privacy release, nomenclature will not be assigned and the patient will not extract into Sequence.

 

Q: Can you perform a patient or therapy search on Sequence?

A:

Yes, you can search for a specific patient or therapy through the Patient Information screen and filter by therapy type.

 

Q: Is there a cost associated with registration for Sequence?

A:

Sequence is a service provided at no cost to Transplant Center clinicians to monitor their patients receiving therapy with BiologicTx.

 

Q: Is Sequence HIPAA compliant?

A:

Yes, the Sequence application is an encrypted product that is accessible to Transplant Center clinicians only after authentication of the user following request for entry rights. BiologicTx has also added a 2nd level of security access control with requires multi-factor authentication (MFA).

 

Q: What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

A:

MFA is a two-step authentication process that requires user name, password and a 6 digit google authenticator code.

 

Q: Can I add patient data or labs to Sequence?

A:

No. Users are granted view-only access to Sequence to maintain the integrity of the data entry. Data can only be entered by BiologicTx personnel or imported directly from HLA labs.

 

Q: How is data loaded into Sequence?

A:

Data is extracted from the BiologicTx pharmacy program twice daily. Laboratory data can be manually entered directly into Sequence as well as imported from HLA labs.

 

Q: Who can be provided access to Sequence?

A:

Transplant Center physicians, coordinators, administrators, HLA directors can request entry rights to view their patient’s information in Sequence. To maintain HIPAA compliance, users’ security access will be defined by the Transplant Center and organ(s) you are associated with.

 

Q: Can I see any other transplant center data, can they see mine?

A:

No, User access is created that provides access to only the center(s) you are affiliated with.

 

Q: What do I do if I cannot login to Sequence after I have been granted access rights?

A:

Contact the Sequence support Help Desk 24/7, BiologicTx sales representative or the Sequence program Director at 786-208-8746

 

Q: Is Sequence accessible from any browser?

A:

Sequence is compatible from all common browsers including Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. It is advised that the latest version of the browser be installed on your device. Internet Explorer does not support versions below 7.0

 

Q: Is there a limit to the number of devices that I can access Sequence from?

A:

Yes, there is a total number of 5 devices that you can use to access Sequence including work PC, smartphones, iPad’s and personal PC’s.

 

Q: Can BiologicTx create customized reports for a Transplant Center?

A:

Yes, a customized report can be generated for a Transplant Center utilizing encrypted email upon request.

 

Q: Can BiologicTx enter data into Sequence for me?

A:

Yes, BiologicTx will enter laboratory data upon request into Sequence. Transplant Centers can forward HLA, MFI, DSA, PRA, cPRA, CBC or CMP for entry. BiologicTx can also work with your Transplant Center HLA lab to import labs directly into Sequence.

 

Q: if my patients are not on service with BiologicTx can I be granted access to Sequence?

A:

No. The Sequence application is a service for patients that are receiving therapy with BiologicTx.

 

Q: I have applications that currently track my patients. What information can I get from Sequence that would benefit me in monitoring patients?

A:

The added benefit of using Sequence is that you will have access to lab results, nursing notes, outpatient therapy dates, reconciled medication profiles, oral compliance therapy templates, Kidney Paired Donation information, donor information and adverse event monitoring.

 

Q: Can I request entry rights for therapy other than related to solid organ transplant?

A:

No. Sequence currently supports only solid organ transplant therapies.

 

Q: Can BiologicTx set up an account for me?

A:

No. Users are advised to set up their own accounts to create their own username, password and answer 3 specific security questions.
